A remote teahouse lodge trek through the little-visited foothills of Manaslu to a spectacular high alpine lake with Annapurna massive...

Manaslu and the Annapurnas trekking is one of the most challenging and remarkable trek in the Nepal. Mt. Manaslu is 8th highest peak on the planet, locally known as 'the mountain of the spirit', is one of the most spectacular snow-peaks in Nepal, and the Manaslu Circuit, officially opened in for trekking from 1992, offers a combination of rich culture heritage, unsurpassed beauty and biological diversity. It is a cultural trek par excellence, without a doubt one of the best treks in Nepal. Oddly, it's also one of the Nepal Himalayas least known treks, and happily doesn't boast of apple-pie lodges, sprawling trekking villages. A trek around the 'high' Manaslu circuit is a step back in time, a glimpse of pristine Nepali and Tibetan villages, a walk through a remote Himalayan paradise. The diversity of the trek, from the Hindu middle hills to the Tibetan high-country dwellers and the awesome mountain scenery of the Manaslu Himal and surrounding peaks combine to make this circuit with Annapurna Circuit crossing the Thorung-La Pass which one of the most interesting, as well as one of the most challenging treks in Nepal. The 5160meter Larke-La pass is just one of the high points in the route.

The Manaslu will disappear behind you as you descend to Dharapani where we can drive by local jeep to Besishahar and drive back to Kathmandu. This 3-week's excursion will leave you with a sense of peace and respect for the people of Nepal and its ecological wonders. The Manaslu will disappear behind you as you descend to Syange where we can drive by local jeep to Besishahar and drive back to Kathmandu.
