Yala Peak (5,700m.) is a one of easier trekking peaks for beginner mountaineers for climbing which located at North part of Kathmandu valley in the Langtang region. It is considered a trekking peak by the Nepal mountaineering association, and is a relatively simple, non-technical climb. From the summit we can see Shishapangma (8,013m.) and the fluted Gangchempo (6,388m.).

We drive to Syabrubesi 8 hours from Kathmandu at first day and spend the overnight at Syabrubesi then next day start trek and six days takes us hiking up the beautiful Langtang valley to Kyangjin Gompa at (3,800m.) Langtang area in itself is a good choice for all trekkers. They remain unforgettably beautiful and culturally rich. In addition, the trails are less crowded and the people are friendly. Kyangjin Gompa is situated below Langtang Lirung (7,246m.). We establish base camp on a meadow at (5,033m.) and climb Yala Peak the next day. The last 400 meter is on ice so we will be using crampons, ice axe and rope etc.
