Ombigaichen Peak (6,340m.) climbing is one of the rarely climbing peak of Nepal, standing as an extensional settlement of eastern Himalayas of Mahalangur range in the Everest region at Solu Khumbu district, Nepal. Mount Ombigaichen Peak is materialized for enchanting and adventurous climbing stuff; the recognized trail to this peak follows along the route of the Kathmandu to Lukla pleasant flight - Namche Bazar - Ama Dablam Base Camp, then finally would be your destination of summit of Ombigaichen Peak Base Camp. Ombigaichen Peak was first climbed by an expedition led by Sir Edmund Hillary. The Briton James Milledge and the Nepalese Sherpa Ang Tshering Sherpa reached the summit on November 18, 1960 over via northwest ridge. On December 3, 2002, a British expedition led by Victor Saunders was successful. She reached the summit via the south ridge.

The journey towards Mount Ombigaichen peak will be full of enrich nature wilderness with spectacular geographical landscape views that is beyond ones imagination. Ombigaichen peak climbing trial. The itinerary of this trail has been designed for an easy ascend and healthy acclimatization by our professional and experienced team of mountaineering.

Detail Itinerary

Peak Climbing Cost Includes:

  • Land transportation by Car, Van, Hiace or, tourist Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, trekking pick up and drop).
  • 4 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed and Breakfast basis.
  • 3 Major meals; B/L/D (by Lodge menu) and accommodation; twin sharing bed room at best available teahouse lodge en-route, tented camp at Base Camp.
  • Twin sharing North Face brand tent, dining tent, Kitchen tent, staff tent, Kitchen utensil etc.).
  • 1 English speaking equipped, professional trekking + climbing guide, Cook, Kitchen boys and necessary Porter. (1 Porter between two member).
  • Climbing guide equipment charges.
  • Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
  • Per member 15 Kg. luggage allow while in the trekking.
  • Enough rope for climbing and snow bar for climbing.
  • Ombigaichen Peak Permit, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality entrance fees, Sagarmatha National Park permit and garbage deposit.

Spring Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m.), meet our staff then transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Official work for climbing and briefing at evening.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,800m.) then trek to Phakding (2,622m.) Teahouse Lodge.
Day 04: Phakding – Namche Bazar (3,440m.) O/N at T. Lodge.
Day 05: Acclimatization and rest day. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Namche Bazar – Tengboche (3,867m.) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Tengboche – Ama Dablam Base Camp (4,600m.) O/N at Camping.
Day 08: Trek to Mount Ombigaichan Base Camp (5200m.) O/N at Camping.
Day 09: Ombigaichen Peak Base Camp – High Camp (5600m.) O/N at Camping.
Day 10 - 14: Climbing Period for Mount Ombigaichan (6340m.) Summit and back to Base Camp.
Day 15: Cleaning Base Camp, Backpack and preparation for return. O/N at Camping.
Day 16: Ombigaichan Base Camp – Tengboche (3,860m.) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 17: Tengboche – Monjo (2,840m.) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 18: Monjo – Lukla (2,866m.) and transfer to teahouse Lodge.
Day 19: Lukla – Kathmandu by early flight and transfers to Hotel.
Day 20: Kathmandu free and farewell dinner.
Day 21: Last minute, transfer to airport for your onward journey.

Autumn Itinerary
