Pikey peak trek is newly introduced trekking route in Khumbu region which allows us to enjoy up-close view of Mount Everest and lower Khumbu region along with magical landscapes as well as takes you to beautiful areas in Everest inhabited by Sherpa settlements. If you are looking for a short trek near the Everest region, Pikey Peak Trek would be best for you. This trek not only offers you with wonderful mountain views and scenic beauty but also the cultural exploration of the Sherpas living in the Everest region. Lying at the height of 4067 meters, trekking to the Pikey Peak may not be very difficult especially for an experienced trekker. However, we suggest physical exercises before trekking for the beginners.

Our itineraries for Pikey peak trek is designed for both experienced as well as beginner trekkers. Pikey peak trek is basically a moderate level short trekking destination in the Everest region. So, if you have a time limitation and still want to explore the Everest region.Trek. We have designed diferent itineraries to minimize the risk of AMS by limiting the daily gain in altitude. The Pikey peak trail route is covered with lush forests of rhododendron, oak and pine. You will walk through numerous villages perched on ridge tops surrounded by terraced fields. From Pikey peak, you will get the grand view of mountain peaks – Dhaulagiri, Everest, Makalu and Kanchenjunga to the far west. The tea house accommodation along the trekking route is simple and offers very basic facilities.

Detail Itinerary

Tea-house Lodge Trek Cost Includes:

  • All ground transportation by Car, Van, Hiace or tourist Bus. (Airport/Hotel/Airport, trekking pick up and drop).
  • 2 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at tourist standard Hotel on Bed & Breakfast basis.
  • Trail transp[ortation; Kathmandu/Dhap or Phaplu Kathmandu by TATA, Mahendra or Toyota jeep.
  • 3 Major meals; B/L/D (by Lodge menu) and accommodation at best available teahouse lodge during the trek en-route.
  • 1 English speaking trekking guide and necessary Porter. (1 Porter between two member)
  • Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
  • Per member 10 Kg. luggage allow while in the trekking.
  • Trekking Permit, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality and Sagarmatha National Park entrance fees.

Trek Cost Doesn’t Include:

  • Personal transportation except those mentioned in the above program.
  • Major meals lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu.
  • Personal trekking gears as well as sleeping bag which must cover over minus -15 degree Celsius. .
  • Expenses of a personal nature.
  • Emergency evacuation (if required).
  • Drinks, except tea and coffee at cup system (if participants ordered in small/big pot while in trekking then guest must pay by themselves,
