Bokta Peak Climbing, known as Boktoh peak stands at height of 6114 metres is on west view from Ramche, on Yalung glacier on the way to Kanchenjunga south base camp. The peak is challenging, semi-technical and more adventure trekking peak in Nepal, a high level of physical fitness is required to summit this peak. Only a few mountaineers use to climb this peak because its located in a very remote area of far east Nepal. It's stunning, but achievable objective close to Mount Kanchenjunga. Bokta peak was first climbed on April 10, 1991 by a Slovenian mountaineering group consisting of Marko Prezelj, Andrej Stremfelj and Uros Rupar. The ascent took place from Ramze (Ramche - 4,580m.) to the south. Bokta peak climbing offers unique Himalayan views of the eastern part of Nepal including Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586m.) the third highest mountain in the world. Jannu Himal/Kumbhakarana (7,710m.), Dhormo Peak (6,850m.), Nupchu (6,690m.) etc, lush valleys, beautiful landscape, wild animals and Tibetan culture and their warm hospitality.

Our itinerary includes trekking over Selele Pass (4,480m.) and hiking to Oktang base camp (4,730m.), therefore we gave enough activities for good acclimatization before attempting the peak and trekking itself is very adventurous, therefore the trekking and climbing Bokta Peak trip will be very suitable for those who are looking for trekking in remote area, trekking in crowd less area and an extra challenge on 6,000 metres peak.
