The classic route through the Sherpa heartland to the foot of the world's highest peaks on Earth

Gokyo Cho-La Pass and Everest Base Camp Trekking is lodge-based trek follows in the footsteps of the great climbing parties. Trekking through Sherpa heartland past cultivated fields and small villages, we follow the Dudh Koshi before the hard work begins as we climb up to Namche Bazaar. Above the tree-line the scenery is stark but spectacular and fantastic views. Walking trail up to Gokyo Lake, Gokyo Ri peak is a another part of this trek and taste itself with wonedrful views of Everest, Cho Oyu and other peaks around.

Crossing Cho-La pass is one of the adventure which takes us Kala Pattar and Everest Base camp to explore around. The incredible Buddhist monastery at Tengboche is a photographer's paradise, set against the backdrop of Mt. Ama Dablam, Everest and other huge, snowcapped peaks. With time for acclimatization en route, Everest Base Camp on the Khumbu glacier as well as Icefall and the opportunity to climb Kala Pattar (5545m.) for a breathtaking view of Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse. Trail descent, surprisingly fast, brings us back to Lukla where we take flight back to Kathmandu.

Detail Itinerary

Tea-house Lodge Trek Cost Includes:

  • All land transportation by Car, Van, Hiace or, tourist Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, trekking pick up and drop).
  • 3 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed & Breakfast basis.
  • 3 Major meals; B/L/D (by Lodge menu) and accommodation at best available teahouse lodge during the trek en-route.
  • 1 English speaking trekking guide and necessary Porter. (1 Porter between two member)
  • Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
  • Per member 10 Kg. luggage allow while in the trekking.
  • Trekking Permit, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality and Sagarmatha National Park entrance fees.

Day 17: Tengboche – Namche Bazar.
