Mt. Phari Lapcha Peak (6,017m.) is located in the popular Gokyo valley in the Khumbu Region, Nepal, close to village of Gokyo and the source of the Dubh Koshi River. Despite being a popular trekking area Phari Lapcha peak has only recently become a popular venue after being added to the permitted trekking peak list in 2002.

The peak rises from yak pastures above the village in a uniform slope to the final summit pyramid which is an undistinguished snow and ice slope. Phari Lapcha itself has two summits and the East Summit (5,977m.) is slightly lower than the main top. Phari Lapcha is sometimes confused with Dawa Peak (5,920 m) to the north-west of the main summits, and has been called Phari Lapcha West though it is arguably an entirely separate peak. It was first ascent by the Brazilians Marcelo Rey Belo and Juliana N. Bechara Belo with three Nepalil Sherpas on May 19, 2003. The ascent route led over the northwest ridge.
