Chekigo Peak Climbing (6121m.) is a wonderful peak climbing as well as the trekking which is best destinations for admiring of the adventurous and observers. Chekigo Peak is known as Chekijo Peak located in the wild area between Rolwaling valley and Khumbu region. It is newly open peak expeditions for the mountaineers and its climbing permit was issued in 2002. The first summit of the Chekigo peak was ascended by Bruce Normand from Unite Kingdom and Oliver Rotz from Switzerland through the west face on May 15, 2005.
Being more challenging, it offers us an astonishing view of Nepal’s Himalayas. Where you can observe the good combination of Hindu and Buddhist culture. During your trip, you will be able to find out the Kalinchowk 3579m which is famous Hindu shrine of the region’s where thousands of Hindu and Buddhist Pilgrimage visit every year to worship and blessed by the goddess. As well as there are lost of popular monastery and temples like Kalinchowk Bhagabati temple, Bigu Gompa. Interestingly, you won’t miss the chance to explore the excellent panoramic view of Mount Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Shishapanga, Lamjung, Jugal Himal and Gauri Shanker etc. Having diverse cultural and amazing landscapes make Chekigo peak climbing all life experience. Alluring forest and ancient cultural Monasteries can be encounter on Chekigo climbing route.The base camp will be set up at (5400m.) and a minimum of two camps will be prepared before final push for the summit. The mountain is a bundle of snow and rock so extra attention will be needed in walking through rock and snow.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu, preparation and briefing about trip at evening.
Day 03: Kathmandu - Chhetchhet (1,377m.) by Jeep or, local Bus. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 04: Trek from Chhetchhet – Simigaon (Simi Village - 2,036m.) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 05: Simigaon – Dokhang (Dugang - 2,791m.) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Dokhang – Beding Village (3,693m.) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Beding Village rest for acclimatization and visit old Buddhist Monastery. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Beding Village - Chekigo Base Camp (5,400m.) preparation of climbing peak.
Day 09 - 14: Ascent to Chekigo Peak Summit (6,121m.) and descent to Chekigo Base Camp. O/N at Camping.
Day 15: Contingency day, incase of bad weather, clean BC & backpack. O/N at Camping.
Day 16: Trek back from Chekogo Base Camp to Beding Village (3,693m) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 17: Beding Village - Dokhang (2,791m.) O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 18: Dokhang - Simigaon or Chhetchhet. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 19: Simigaon or, Chhetchhet and drive back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 20: Kathmandu leisure and farewell dinner at evening.
Day 21: Last minute transfers to airport for your onward journey.
